Job Summary

Saltworks Technologies, a fast‑growing Canadian cleantech leader in Richmond, Greater Vancouver, is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support its expanding workforce. This role will manage day‑to‑day HR operations and help drive a high‑performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer full‑cycle recruitment for technical and corporate positions, from job posting to onboarding.
• Maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with Canadian labour standards and privacy regulations.
• Provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary processes.
• Support compensation and benefits administration, including payroll coordination with finance.
• Develop and deliver HR policies, procedures, and training programs aligned with Saltworks’ rapid growth.
• Assist with health and safety initiatives and manage workers’ compensation claims.
• Partner with leadership to promote employee engagement, retention, and professional development.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR generalist experience in a fast‑paced, technology‑oriented environment.
• Strong knowledge of British Columbia employment legislation and federal labour standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at all levels.
• Proficiency in HRIS (e.g., BambooHR, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and a proactive, service‑oriented mindset.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in the cleantech, manufacturing, or mining sectors.
• Certification such as CHRP or SHRM‑CP.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
