Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel and natural‑gas generators ranging from 10 kW to 2 MW.

  • Respond to emergency service calls, typically providing overtime of up to 10 hours per week.
  • Document all service activities in the company’s field service software, ensuring accurate logs, parts usage, and time tracking.
  • Collaborate with the dispatch team to prioritize work orders and maintain optimal route efficiency.
  • Maintain safety compliance by following OSHA standards, wearing required PPE, and conducting pre‑job safety assessments.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and assist in training new hires.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification (e.g., EPA 608, ASE, or similar) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience servicing generators, engines, or related power equipment.
  • Valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a background check.
