Job Summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a General Engineer/Architect to work at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Little Tucson, Pima County, US. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and review engineering solutions for aerospace and defense systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate architectural concepts into functional hardware and software.

• Prepare detailed engineering documentation, specifications, and reports compliant with DoD standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering design, systems architecture, or related government contracting work.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and engineering analysis software.
• Strong understanding of DoD acquisition regulations, MIL‑STD standards, and aerospace safety requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear technical documentation.
• Eligibility for a security clearance (Secret or higher) is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with aircraft or missile system design.
• Familiarity with Agile or Systems Engineering V‑Model processes.
