Shermco Industries, Inc. is hiring a Field Services Supervisor – Acceptance Testing & Commissioning in New Westminster, Greater Vancouver. This full‑time role leads a team delivering safe, compliant electrical testing and commissioning for utility and industrial clients across British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily field operations for acceptance testing, commissioning, and start‑up of electrical systems.
• Coordinate schedules, resources, and logistics to meet project milestones and client expectations.
• Ensure all work complies with Canadian Electrical Code, OHS regulations, and Shermco quality standards.
• Conduct on‑site inspections, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance to field technicians.
• Prepare and review test reports, commissioning documentation, and hand‑over packages.
• Maintain equipment inventories, calibrations, and safety certifications.
• Mentor and train junior staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical acceptance testing, commissioning, or related field services.
• Proven supervisory or lead‑technician experience managing crews on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of high‑voltage equipment, protective relays, SCADA, and power distribution systems.
• Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s licence and ability to travel throughout BC.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interfacing and report preparation.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CEC, OSHA, PMP) are an advantage.
