Job Summary
Brown Machine Group is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join its team in Beaverton, Gladwin County, US. This role supports BMG’s award‑winning thermoforming and automation solutions across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and troubleshoot thermoforming and automation equipment at customer sites.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibrations to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide on‑site technical support, training, and documentation for customers.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to relay customer feedback and improve product designs.
- Maintain accurate service reports, parts inventory, and compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certifications in mechatronics, HVAC, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience servicing industrial equipment, preferably in thermoforming or automation.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; ability to read schematics and PLC programs.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently to customer locations.
Compensation & Benefits
