Job Summary

Merck is hiring a Field Sales Development Representative to work remotely while serving customers in Montpelier, Washington County, US. This role focuses on selling companion animal products across vacant territories throughout the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage customers face‑to‑face and virtually to build strong, lasting relationships.
• Identify client needs, provide consultative guidance, and present appropriate Merck companion‑animal solutions.
• Collaborate with the Companion Animal Field Sales Team to achieve regional sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
• Travel within assigned territories as needed to attend trade shows, veterinary conferences, and client meetings.

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical or animal‑health sales, preferably in a field or remote setting.

Compensation

Base salary: $113,255.06 per year.
