Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical and control engineers, to integrate electrical solutions across water, transport, built environment and energy sectors.
• Prepare detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, load calculations and technical documentation.
• Manage project budgets, schedules and risk assessments, reporting progress to senior management and clients.
• Conduct site inspections, testing and commissioning of electrical systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure all work follows relevant regulations and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
• Proven experience (3+ years) in electrical engineering within civil or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, control systems and renewable energy integration.
• Proficiency with CAD/ BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and engineering software.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence (car allowance provided).
