Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable IoT services and APIs that ingest and process real‑time transit data.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and operations teams to translate city‑level mobility challenges into robust software solutions.
- Implement edge‑to‑cloud communication protocols, device management, and data security best practices.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and champion best‑in‑class engineering standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on IoT, embedded systems, or real‑time data pipelines.
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, Go, or C++ and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands‑on knowledge of MQTT, CoAP, RESTful APIs, and data serialization formats (JSON, Protobuf).
- Strong understanding of micro‑service architectures, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits
