Job Summary

Hut 8 is seeking a Director, Total Rewards to lead compensation and benefits strategy for its Miami operations. This senior role shapes competitive total‑reward programs that attract and retain top talent in the fast‑growing AI and data‑center industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve total‑reward programs, including base pay, variable compensation, health & wellness benefits, and retirement plans.
• Partner with senior leadership to align reward strategies with business objectives and market trends.
• Lead annual salary benchmarking, market surveys, and internal equity analyses.
• Oversee incentive plan design for executive and non‑executive staff, ensuring clear metrics and payout structures.
• Manage compliance with federal, state and local compensation regulations.
• Direct a team of compensation analysts and benefit specialists, providing coaching and development.
• Develop communication strategies to educate employees on total‑reward offerings.
• Prepare and present executive reports on total‑reward costs, ROI, and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field; MBA or HR certification (e.g., SPHR, CCP) preferred.
• 10+ years progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in designing total‑reward programs for technology or high‑growth companies.
• Strong analytical, data‑driven decision‑making skills and advanced proficiency with compensation software.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities to work with cross‑functional leaders.
• Knowledge of US and Florida‑specific employment laws.
