Director of Membership Growth & Engagement – Riverside County Medical Association, Riverside, US
Lead the full membership lifecycle for a 3,500‑strong professional medical association, driving recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and retention of physicians, students, and residents in Riverside County.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive membership growth strategy aligned with RCMA’s mission.
- Identify, target, and recruit new physician members, medical students, and residents.
- Design seamless onboarding experiences that quickly integrate new members into the association.
- Create and manage engagement programs, events, and communications to enhance member value.
- Analyze membership data, track key performance indicators, and adjust tactics to improve retention.
- Collaborate with marketing, education, and advocacy teams to align initiatives.
- Oversee membership budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Represent RCMA at regional conferences and networking events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in membership development, association management, or related sales/marketing roles.
- Proven track record of growing and retaining professional memberships.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using CRM and membership databases.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
- Passion for the medical community and understanding of physicians’ professional needs.
Compensation & Benefits
