Intermountain Health is seeking a Device Tech_MGFR to provide clinical, educational, research, and administrative support for its implantable device program in Cedar, Cole County.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate on‑site and remote interrogation of implantable cardiac devices, ensuring accurate capture of device data.
- Manage patient‑submitted data from home‑based monitoring systems and upload to secure, internet‑hosted databases.
- Maintain and update multiple research databases, supporting ongoing clinical studies and quality‑improvement initiatives.
- Provide education and training to patients and clinical staff on device usage, troubleshooting, and data transmission procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and biomedical engineers to interpret device data and recommend clinical actions.
- Prepare reports, regulatory documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling device interrogations, tracking inventory, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and FDA regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with implantable cardiac devices (e.g., pacemakers, ICDs, CRT‑Ds).
- Proficiency in device interrogation software and remote monitoring platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for data accuracy and research integrity.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (HIPAA, FDA) and clinical research protocols.
Compensation
Salary: $86,918.27 annually.
