Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical designs for high‑voltage transmission projects, adhering to industry standards and client specifications.
• Perform site surveys and collect data to inform design decisions and ensure constructability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including civil, mechanical and project managers—to deliver integrated solutions.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and calculation reports for client approval.
• Support the procurement process by providing accurate bill‑of‑materials and specification inputs.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and compliance checks against UK transmission regulations.
• Travel to client sites across Northern, Central and Southern England; expenses covered.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• UK full driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Active Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in transmission system design, high‑voltage equipment, and power system analysis.
• Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
