Job Summary
Join Alectra Inc. as a Data Analyst, Process Technology Improvement in Brampton, Peel region, Canada. This full‑time hybrid role supports process optimisation across the utility’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse process data to identify improvement opportunities and support technology upgrades.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations and IT teams to implement data‑driven solutions.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Document findings, create standard operating procedures, and present insights to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, process improvement or utility‑focused projects.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data‑visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and travel between Brampton, Barrie or Hamilton as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with process‑technology initiatives in the energy sector.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean or other continuous‑improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS).
