Job Summary

Teradata is seeking a Customer Solution Architect in Boston, Suffolk County, US. This role blends technical expertise with client‑facing skills to design, implement, and optimize Teradata’s cloud analytics and data platform for enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to understand business objectives and translate them into scalable data and AI solutions on Teradata’s cloud platform.
• Design end‑to‑end architectures, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and AI/ML workloads, ensuring best‑practice security and governance.
• Lead proof‑of‑concepts and pilot projects, delivering technical presentations and demos to C‑level stakeholders.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and act as the primary escalation point for customer deployments.
• Partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to influence roadmap decisions based on market feedback.
• Develop and maintain solution documentation, reference architectures, and reusable assets for the broader sales and services organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering cloud‑based data analytics or AI solutions for large enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark), and modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with SQL, Python/Scala, and data modeling concepts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Teradata certification or hands‑on experience with Teradata Vantage is a plus.
