Job Summary

UCHealth is hiring a full‑time CT Technologist to work night shifts in the Emergency Department at its Aurora Central campus, located in Aurora, Arapahoe County, Colorado.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality computed tomography (CT) scans for emergency patients, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety.
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and monitor for adverse reactions to contrast agents.
• Operate CT equipment, adjust protocols, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to prioritize urgent studies.
• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with HIPAA and radiation safety regulations.
• Participate in continuing education and departmental quality‑improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited CT Technologist program and current ARRT certification (or eligibility).
• Minimum 1‑2 years of CT imaging experience, preferably in an emergency or fast‑paced setting.
• Strong knowledge of CT physics, contrast administration, and radiation protection.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a 72‑hour bi‑weekly schedule.
