About This Position

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and manage permit statuses for pole owners, railroad crossings, KYTC and other regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain all project documentation, including contracts, sub‑mittals, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Coordinate scheduling between the Construction Manager, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor project budgets, invoice sub‑contractors, and assist with cost reporting.
  • Facilitate daily site meetings, record minutes, and distribute action items.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, local building codes, and company policies.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval.
  • Support procurement of materials and equipment by generating purchase orders and tracking deliveries.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction administration or field coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of permitting processes, especially for utilities and transportation projects.
  • Proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
