Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet annual revenue targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the Development Coordinator and Senior Development Specialist.
  • Cultivate relationships with donors, alumni, corporate partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Oversee grant writing, major gifts, planned giving, and annual giving programs.
  • Collaborate with academic and clinical departments to align development efforts with institutional priorities.
  • Prepare and present reports on fundraising performance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or advanced certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in higher‑education development or nonprofit fundraising.
  • Proven track record of securing major gifts and managing donor pipelines.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with CRM databases (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce) and data‑driven fundraising.
