Assessment Specialist
About This Position
FlexTG is hiring an Assessment Specialist in Baltimore, Baltimore County, MD to evaluate client print environments and recommend optimized managed print solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site and remote assessments of customers’ print fleets, workflows, and document management processes.
- Analyze usage data, cost structures, and technology gaps to develop detailed improvement plans.
- Prepare and present clear, data‑driven reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and support teams to design customized managed print service proposals.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging hardware, and FlexTG’s proprietary technology to ensure best‑practice advice.
- Assist in pilot implementations and monitor post‑deployment performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in print services, document management, or technology assessment roles.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, or similar reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of translating technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications such as HP IMPRESS, Xerox Certified Consultant, or similar.
- Experience with managed print service (MPS) platforms and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and cost‑reduction strategies in printing environments.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary $62,325.14 annually. FlexTG offers health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and continuous learning opportunities.
