Job Summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director, Business Insights & Analytics to join its Digital Human Health (DHH) US Market Engagement Team in Rahway, Union County, US. This senior role drives data‑powered strategy, demand planning and performance reporting for DHH products.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with US commercial leaders to define brand and market strategies based on deep insight analysis.
• Lead the end‑to‑end demand forecasting process, translating business priorities into actionable analytics.
• Design, develop and communicate dashboards, KPI scorecards and predictive models that guide product activation and go‑to‑market execution.
• Manage cross‑functional projects, ensuring data integrity, timely delivery and alignment with DHH business objectives.
• Mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of data curiosity and continuous improvement.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing decision‑making and resource allocation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in business insights, analytics or market research, preferably within pharma or healthcare.
• Advanced proficiency with analytics tools (SQL, Python/R, Tableau, Power BI) and statistical modeling.
• Strong communication skills, able to translate complex data into clear business narratives.
• Proven track record of influencing commercial strategy and driving measurable business impact.

Compensation

Salary: $213,610.53 per year (fixed).
