Job Summary

Teradata is hiring a Customer Solution Architect in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, US. This role designs and delivers cloud‑analytics and AI solutions that help enterprise customers turn data into trusted insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior customers to understand business objectives and translate them into technical solution designs on Teradata’s cloud analytics platform.
• Lead proof‑of‑concepts, workshops, and architecture reviews, showcasing how harmonized data and trusted AI drive faster innovation.
• Develop detailed solution blueprints, integration strategies, and migration roadmaps for large‑scale data environments.
• Act as the technical voice of the customer within Teradata, influencing product roadmaps and service offerings.
• Provide guidance on data governance, security, and performance optimisation throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to best‑practice documentation and knowledge‑base articles.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise data, cloud, or AI solutions.
• Strong expertise with SQL, data warehousing, and modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands‑on experience with Teradata Vantage, data integration tools, and AI/ML frameworks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence C‑level stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Teradata Vantage, AWS Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Compensation

Base salary: $154,658.48 per year.
