Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post general ledger entries ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel accounting standards.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year‑end account reconciliations for all balance‑sheet accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and guest billing.
• Manage payroll processing for resort staff, ensuring timely and correct wage distribution.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for senior management.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors during audits and financial reviews.
• Identify process improvements, implement internal controls, and support cost‑saving initiatives.
• Train and mentor junior finance staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with hotel property management systems and accounting software (e.g., Opera, Sage, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends during peak periods.

Compensation & Benefits
