Key Responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Support the senior finance team with budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Maintain accurate records in the accounting system and ensure compliance with UK GAAP.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather data and resolve accounting queries.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects such as process improvements and system upgrades.

Required Skills & Experience

• Relevant finance or accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 1‑2 years of experience in a bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable or finance analyst role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or SAP).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
