Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate security controls into software systems supporting critical government applications.
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analyses throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with DoD, NIST, and other federal security standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on secure coding practices.
• Prepare and present security documentation, test plans, and audit artifacts for government reviews.

Required Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance (must be a U.S. citizen).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in software development and information system security engineering.
• Proficiency with secure coding languages (C/C++, Java, Python) and DevSecOps toolsets.
• In‑depth knowledge of NIST 800‑53, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• DoD Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
