About This Position

Job Summary

Join Adept Consulting Services, Inc. as a Technical Support Specialist in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County. You will monitor 24/7 applications, resolve alerts, and support mobile, desktop, and laptop users during the 3rd shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor application availability around the clock and respond to system alerts in real time.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for mobile devices, desktops, and laptops.
  • Escalate complex problems to senior engineers following established protocols.
  • Document incidents, solutions, and root‑cause analyses in the ticketing system.
  • Provide on‑call support one weekend per month and maintain clear communication with end‑users.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve service reliability and performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently during night shift hours.
  • Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments, as well as iOS and Android devices.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and remote assistance software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to be on‑call one weekend per month.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous technical support or help‑desk role in a 24/7 operations setting.
  • Knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Modern Desktop.

Compensation & Benefits
