About the Role

As a Remote Cybersecurity Specialist at SecureShield Solutions, you will lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of security controls across cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid environments impaired by sophisticated adversaries. Your day-to-day will include:

• Conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses.
• Developing and executing incident response plans that minimize downtime.

• Staying ahead of emerging threats through continuous research and threat hunting.

Requirements

Experience & Credentials

• 5+ years in a cybersecurity role (penetration tester, SOC analyst, or security engineer).
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Proven track record in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and network defense.
• Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or CISM are strongly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Advanced knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Programming or scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with DevSecOps practices, container security, and CI/CD pipelines.
