About the Role

In this high‑impact position, you will lead threat detection, incident response, and risk assessment initiatives for a globally distributed client base. Your work will directly influence the security posture of our cloud‑native applications, protect customer data, and keep our compliance standing above industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts across multi‑cloud environments using SIEM, SOAR, and other tooling.
• Investigate incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and recommend remediation strategies.
• Conduct vulnerability scans, penetration test reviews, and security architecture assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to embed security controls into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Maintain and enhance incident response playbooks, runbooks, and automation scripts.
• Provide regular threat intelligence updates and security training to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in information security, incident response, or threat hunting.
• Proficiency with SIEM solutions (Splunk, ELK, QRadar) and SOAR platforms.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security best practices.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar) are a plus.

Salary Range

$60,000 – $85,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience and certifications.
