About This Position
Job Summary
Zoom is hiring a Head of Workplace to lead Workplace Operations for its global sites (excluding China) from Chisolm, Montgomery County, US. This senior role oversees daily office operations, vendor management, and workplace programs to ensure safe, efficient and cost‑effective environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct day‑to‑day operations of Zoom’s worldwide office portfolio, ensuring facilities are well‑maintained, safe and compliant.
- Develop and enforce operational standards, sustainability initiatives and cost‑control measures across all sites.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and oversee service delivery for cleaning, security, maintenance, and other site‑specific services.
- Lead the design, rollout and continuous improvement of workplace programs that enhance employee experience and productivity.
- Collaborate with regional leaders to align workplace strategy with business objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for workplace spend, ensuring adherence to the approved budget.
- Implement health, safety and emergency protocols, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
- Drive data‑driven decision‑making by analyzing facility performance metrics and reporting insights to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in facilities, workplace operations or real‑estate management, preferably in a global or multi‑site environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing large, cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
- Strong financial acumen with experience budgeting, forecasting and managing multi‑million‑dollar programs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of influencing senior executives.
- Knowledge of health, safety and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities Management, Real Estate or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $89,476.86 annually.
