Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans for specialty pharmacy services, targeting cell, gene, rare disease, and exclusive therapies.
• Identify, negotiate, and secure new contracts with pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotechnology firms, and payer networks.
• Lead provider engagement programs, fostering strong relationships with clinicians and healthcare organizations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including clinical, data analytics, billing, and reimbursement—to deliver integrated solutions.
• Drive market intelligence gathering and competitive analysis to inform growth strategies.
• Represent Cardinal Health at industry conferences, webinars, and stakeholder meetings.
• Mentor and manage a high‑performing business development team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy, biotech, or pharmaceutical business development.
• Proven track record of securing high‑value contracts and building strategic alliances.
• Deep understanding of specialty drug distribution, payer contracting, and reimbursement models.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Compensation

Base salary: $114,122.44 annually.
