Key Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate stormwater management systems and flood control measures
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software
• Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory documentation
• Collaborate with environmental scientists and planners on watershed management projects
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local water resource regulations

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in water resources engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in HEC-RAS, SWMM, or similar modeling software
• Strong knowledge of EPA regulations and Clean Water Act compliance
• Experience with GIS mapping tools and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Understanding of climate change impacts on water systems

Salary Range

$70,000 – $95,000 USD/year (based on experience and qualifications)
