About the Role

We are seeking a licensed Veterinarian to join our expanding telehealth platform as a Remote Veterinary Consultant. In this role, you will provide virtual medical consultations, review case files, offer second opinions, and collaborate with local veterinarians to ensure optimal patient care. You’ll work flexible hours while making meaningful contributions to animal health outcomes across the country.

Your primary responsibilities include conducting video consultations with pet owners, providing clinical guidance to referring veterinarians, reviewing medical records and diagnostic images, recommending treatment plans, and participating in continuing education initiatives. You’ll also contribute to developing standardized protocols and improving our telemedicine workflows.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
• Active state veterinary license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in small animal practice
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex medical concepts clearly
• Proficiency with telemedicine platforms and electronic medical records
• Access to reliable high-speed internet and professional workspace
• DEA registration eligible or registered

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with telemedicine or remote consultation services
• Specialty certification in areas such as dermatology, dentistry, or emergency medicine
• Familiarity with mobile veterinary applications and digital health tools
• Experience mentoring or supervising veterinary technicians or students

Salary Range

$95,000 – $140,000 USD per year
