About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Identify high‑potential startup opportunities through rigorous market analysis, data‑driven sourcing, and extensive networking across accelerators, universities, and industry conferences. Lead pitch evaluations, conduct comprehensive due diligence, and draft investment memoranda that inform the partnership committee’s decisions. Prepare and negotiate term sheets, manage cap tables, and structure financing instruments such as SAFE notes and convertible debt. Mentor founders on product‑market fit, go‑to‑market strategy, scaling operations, and building effective sales funnels. Facilitate introductions to strategic investors, corporate partners, and talent pipelines. Serve as a strategic advisor, helping portfolio companies refine business models, optimize pricing, and navigate regulatory challenges. Regularly present portfolio updates, track key performance indicators, and contribute to the development of growth playbooks that drive measurable revenue and user acquisition.

Success Metrics

Measure impact by the number of portfolio companies achieving product‑market fit within 12 months, the volume of successful fundraising rounds led (Series A‑C), and the overall revenue growth of invested ventures. Quarterly performance reviews assess deal flow quality, mentorship outcomes, and strategic contributions to portfolio scaling.

Requirements

Professional Background

Minimum 10 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or senior operating roles within high‑growth technology companies. Proven track record of sourcing, investing in, and scaling startups that have raised Series A‑C funding or reached significant revenue milestones. Deep expertise in at least one industry vertical such as SaaS, fintech, healthtech, or AI. Strong analytical skills, advanced financial modeling proficiency, and exceptional communication abilities. Experience with cap table management, equity financing structures, and negotiation of term sheets.
