As a Remote Venture Partner, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, evaluating, and supporting high-potential startups across diverse sectors. Key Responsibilities

• Source and screen investment opportunities from your professional network and beyond.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective portfolio companies, including market analysis, team evaluation, and financial modeling.
• Lead negotiations and structure term sheets in collaboration with the investment committee.
• Provide ongoing strategic guidance and operational support to portfolio companies, serving as a board member or advisor.
• Represent Nova Capital at industry events, conferences, and within the broader venture ecosystem.
• Contribute to fundraising efforts and investor relations as needed.

Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned venture professional with a strong track record of successful investments and exits. The ideal candidate will have:

• 10+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or high-growth entrepreneurship.
• Proven ability to identify and close deals in emerging technology sectors (e.g., AI, fintech, biotech, SaaS).
• Extensive network of relationships with founders, co-investors, and industry experts.
• Deep understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate investment theses clearly.
• Self-motivated and disciplined to work independently in a remote environment.

Desired Experience

• Prior experience as a Venture Partner or Principal at a reputable VC firm.
• Board membership or observer experience with at least one startup.
• Experience in fundraising and managing limited partner relationships.
• Advanced degree (MBA or technical PhD) is a plus but not required.

Salary Range

Based on industry standards, the annual salary for this remote Venture Partner position ranges from $250,000 to $400,000 USD, plus performance bonuses and potential carried interest. Actual compensation will be determined by experience, track record, and fund performance.
