About the Role

In this fully remote position, you’ll leverage industry‑standard software and satellite imagery to deliver high‑quality measurements, reports, and GIS deliverables to multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct remote surveys using GPS, GNSS, LiDAR, and photogrammetry tools.
• Process and analyze field data to produce topographic maps, boundary surveys, and construction layouts.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, CAD drawings, and GIS layers for client review.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers via video conferencing and cloud‑based platforms.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying standards and regulations.
• Maintain equipment calibration logs and stay current with emerging surveying technologies.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 3 years of professional surveying experience, with a strong background in land or construction surveying.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Professional Surveyor (PS) in your state of residence.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with surveying software such as Trimble Business Center, Leica Geo Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS platforms (ArcGIS/QGIS).
• Experience processing GNSS, RTK, and total station data.
• Solid understanding of coordinate systems, datums, and map projections.
• Ability to interpret legal descriptions, plats, and subdivision maps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
