About the Role

In this position, you’ll conduct high‑accuracy field surveys for a diverse portfolio of projects, including highways, bridges, rail corridors, and urban redevelopment sites. Your responsibilities will span:

Field Data Collection

• Operate GPS, total stations, and UAVs to capture spatial data.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality‑control standards.
• Document and troubleshoot equipment and environmental variables in real time.

Data Processing & Analysis

• Process raw survey data into refined digital elevation models (DEMs) and point clouds.
• Integrate GIS layers into project models for design, analysis, and reporting.
• Create detailed survey reports, mapping deliverables, and client presentations.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Partner with civil engineers, planners, and project managers to translate survey insights into design decisions.
• Participate in virtual design reviews ficará and client workshops.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for survey methodology and workflow automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in land or engineering surveying.
• Proficiency with industry software: AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Trimble Business CenterBa, and UAV flight planning tools.
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to produce accurate, reproducible results.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with remote teams.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to field sites as required (up to 25% of the time).

Salary Range

Competitive compensation is at the heart of our commitment to excellence. For the Remote Surveyor position, we offer a salary range of $55,000 – $78,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience, certifications, and technical expertise.
