About the Role

Harmony Recovery Center is expanding its virtual care program and seeks a compassionate, licensed Substance Abuse Counselor to provide evidence‑based treatment to clients across Florida. You will conduct intake assessments, develop personalized recovery plans, and offer ongoing support through secure video sessions, all while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, physicians, and case managers.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties

Deliver individual and group counseling sessions via a HIPAA‑compliant telehealth platform, ensuring high‑quality care that aligns with state regulations and best practices. Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, track client progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate electronic records, participate in weekly case reviews, and contribute to continuous quality‑improvement initiatives.

Requirements

A current Florida license as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Social Worker with a specialization in substance abuse treatment. Minimum of three years of clinical experience working with individuals struggling with addiction, preferably in a telehealth environment. Strong communication skills, cultural competence, and the ability to manage a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

Salary Range
