About the Role

As a Remote Substance Abuse Counselor, you’ll be an essential part of our clients’ recovery journey through confidential virtual sessions. Responsibilities

• Conduct confidential virtual counseling sessions with individuals struggling with substance abuse

• Provide crisis intervention and support during challenging moments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

• Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings

Requirements

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
• Valid state licensure as a substance abuse counselor (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in addiction counseling
• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport via virtual platforms
• Knowledge of current treatment modalities and addiction research
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and private workspace

Salary Range

$45,000 – $65,000 USD/year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may be available for bilingual counselors and those with specialized certifications.
