Join a pioneering telehealth network dedicated to breaking the cycle of addiction through compassionate, evidence-based care. We are seeking a licensed professional to provide critical support and recovery guidance to clients in a 100% remote environment.

Salary Range

$62,000 – $88,000 USD per year (Depending on experience and licensure level)

About the Role

As a Remote Substance Abuse Counselor at Beacon Recovery Services, you aren’t just filling a position; you are becoming a lifeline. In this fully remote role, you will leverage cutting-edge tele-health technology to provide individual and group counseling sessions to individuals struggling with chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders.

You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, and developing personalized treatment plans that empower clients to reclaim their lives. Because this is a work-from-home position, you have the flexibility to design your workspace for maximum focus while remaining deeply connected to a supportive team of clinical supervisors and peer specialists.

What You Will Do

Clinical Excellence

You will facilitate high-impact therapy sessions using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Your goal is to help clients identify triggers, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and maintain long-term sobriety.

Case Management & Documentation

Maintaining precise, HIPAA-compliant electronic health records (EHR) is a core part of this role. You will track client progress, adjust treatment goals in real-time, and coordinate with external healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to recovery.

Crisis Intervention

While the role is remote, the impact is immediate. You will provide critical crisis intervention and stabilization for clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring they have the resources and safety plans necessary to navigate difficult moments.

Requirements

To be successful in this remote position, you must possess a blend of clinical expertise and digital proficiency:

  • Licensure: Must hold a current state license to practice counseling in Texas (e.g., LPC, LCSW, or LCADC).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in substance abuse treatment or addiction recovery.
  • Education: A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and EHR software. A secure, private home office with high-speed internet is mandatory to ensure client confidentiality.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional empathy, active listening skills, and the ability to build rapport through a screen.

Why Join Beacon Recovery Services?
