About the Role

As a Remote Substance Abuse Counselor, you will be the cornerstone of our telehealth-based recovery programs, delivering evidence-based therapy and unwavering support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling via HIPAA-compliant video platform to clients in Florida.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and create tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapy modalities (e.g., CBT, MI, relapse prevention).
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and progress notes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and peer support specialists for holistic care.
• Educate clients and families on addiction, recovery resources, and coping strategies.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards and confidentiality protocols.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active, unencumbered licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or CADC in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in substance abuse treatment.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong understanding of DSM-5 criteria for substance-related and addictive disorders.
• Exceptional communication, empathy, and crisis management skills.
• Reliable, high-speed internet connection and a private, quiet workspace.

Salary & Comprehensive Benefits

Our salary range for this remote position is $50,000 – $70,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience and licensure.
