About the Role

In this position, you will analyze, design, and oversee the construction of structural systems for commercial and residential projects. You’ll work closely with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure designs meet all building codes, safety standards, and client expectations. As a remote team member, you’ll leverage advanced BIM tools and calculation software to produce detailed drawings, perform load analyses, and provide expert consultation throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

Structural Analysis & Design

• Perform comprehensive load calculations, stress analysis, and material selection for steel, concrete, and timber structures.
• Develop detailed construction drawings and specifications using industry-leading software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000.
• Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national building codes (ICBO, AISC, ACI, and ASCE standards).

Project Collaboration

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural systems with architectural, MEP, and civil engineering components.
• Provide timely responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and support during the permit approval process.
• Conduct site visits virtually or on-demand to assess structural conditions and validate design assumptions.

Required Qualifications

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. state is required.
• Master’s degree or additional certifications (e.g., SE, LEED AP) are a plus.

Technical Proficiency

• Expert-level proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or similar).
• Strong command of BIM platforms (Revit, ArchiCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with code-compliance checking tools and energy modeling software.

Salary Range

Based on industry standards and experience level, we offer a competitive annual salary range of $62,000 – $92,000 USD. Compensation is adjusted based on qualifications, years of experience, and specific role responsibilities.
