Core Duties

• Perform complex structural calculations and simulations to verify the integrity of building designs.

• Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

Technical Skills

Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, RISA, or AutoCAD is essential. You must have a deep understanding of building codes, material properties, and seismic design principles. Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a significant plus.

Experience & Education

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution. A minimum of five years of progressive professional experience in a structural design capacity is required. Professional licensure (PE) is highly preferred, though candidates actively pursuing licensure will also be considered.
