About the Role

As a Remote Structural Engineer at Apex Infrastructure Group, you will be the backbone of our design process. You won’t just be calculating loads; you will be shaping the skyline of tomorrow. This is a 100% work-from-home position specifically for residents of Texas, allowing you to balance professional excellence with personal freedom.

You will collaborate with architects, project managers, and contractors via cloud-based BIM tools to ensure every structure is optimized for safety, efficiency, and longevity. From residential complexes to industrial warehouses, you will handle the full lifecycle of structural analysis and design, ensuring all projects meet rigorous state and federal building codes.

Salary Range

$85,000 – $125,000 USD/year
(Depending on experience, licensure, and specialized certifications)

What You Will Do

Advanced Structural Analysis

Utilize industry-leading software to perform complex calculations for steel, concrete, and timber structures. You will conduct seismic and wind load analyses to ensure structural resilience across diverse environments.

Collaborative Blueprinting

Develop detailed structural drawings and specifications. You will lead virtual design reviews and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical conflicts before they reach the construction phase.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Review contractor submittals and shop drawings to ensure strict adherence to design intent. You will stay updated on the latest IBC (International Building Code) and ASCE standards to keep every project compliant and safe.

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred; EIT certification is acceptable for mid-level candidates.
• Proven experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and RISA-3D or SAP2000.

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in structural design and analysis.
• A track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Remote Readiness
