About the Role

As a Remote Structural Engineer, you’ll collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to develop innovative structural solutions for diverse building projects. You’ll leverage advanced software platforms including AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000 to produce detailed calculations, blueprints, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for buildings up to 20 stories
• Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including drawings and specifications
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with design standards
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams using cloud-based project management tools
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex projects
• Ensure all designs meet IBC, UBC, and local building code requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; SE license preferred
• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience in a consulting environment
• Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, and RAM Structural Systems
• Experience with BIM workflows and Revit Structure is essential
• Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, and timber design per AISC and ACI codes
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Professional communication skills for client and team interactions

Salary Range

$85,000 – $125,000 USD/year

The actual compensation offered will depend on experience, certifications, and geographic location. We conduct annual salary reviews and offer performance-based bonuses twice yearly.
