About the Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Structural Engineer to support the design, analysis, and documentation of building and infrastructure projects. You will use industry‑standard software to perform calculations, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with local and international codes. This fully remote position offers the chance to work on diverse projects ranging from residential complexes to commercial high‑rises, all while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance. You will be a key contributor to our mission of delivering resilient infrastructure that meets the evolving needs of communities and reduces environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design using tools such as ETABS, SAP2000, RAM Structural System, Revit, and AutoCAD.
- Develop detailed design drawings, calculation packages, and specification documents for review by senior engineers, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, geotechnical specialists, and construction teams to resolve design conflicts, optimize material usage, and ensure constructability.
- Conduct virtual site‑visit reviews and, when necessary, assist with in‑person inspections to verify that construction adheres to design intent and quality standards.
- Stay current with building codes and standards (ACI, AISC, Eurocode, IBC, local jurisdictional requirements) and integrate emerging sustainable design practices such as low‑carbon concrete and timber structures.
- Assist in preparing project proposals, cost estimates, risk assessments, and value‑engineering studies to support business development efforts.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct internal knowledge‑sharing sessions, and contribute to continuous improvement of our design processes and quality management system.
- Participate in interdisciplinary BIM coordination meetings, ensuring accurate model integration and clash detection across disciplines.

- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in structural design for building or infrastructure projects, with exposure to both gravity and lateral load systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracy under minimal supervision.
- Experience working in a distributed or remote team environment is a strong plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with structural analysis software including ETABS, SAP2000, RAM Structural System, or similar platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks for drafting, modeling, and coordination.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and collaboration tools such as BIM 360, Trimble Connect, or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Experience with spreadsheet‑based calculations and scripting (Excel VBA, Python, or MATLAB) for automation of repetitive tasks is advantageous.
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing practices for concrete, steel, timber, and masonry systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, including pursuit of relevant certifications (e.g., LEED AP, SE).
