About the Role

As a Remote Stocker and Order Filler for Apex Logistics Solutions, you will be the backbone of our digital warehouse operations. You’ll receive, organize, and prepare products for shipment using our cloud‑based inventory platform, ensuring every order reaches customers on time and in perfect condition. The role blends hands‑on product handling with real‑time data entry, giving you a unique mix of physical and analytical work that can be performed from any secure, high‑speed internet location.

What You’ll Do

Inventory Reception & Verification

Log incoming shipments, compare packing slips to purchase orders, and flag discrepancies instantly in the system.

Order Picking & Packing

Pull items from virtual bins, verify SKU accuracy, and pack orders according to carrier specifications and brand standards.

Quality Assurance

Conduct random audits of packed orders, document damage or mis‑picks, and initiate corrective actions within the workflow tool.

System Maintenance

Update stock levels, process returns, and generate daily reconciliation reports for the operations manager.

Communication & Collaboration

Participate in brief daily stand‑ups via video, escalate urgent issues to the fulfillment lead, and contribute ideas for process improvements.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehousing, retail stocking, or order fulfillment.
• Proficiency with barcode scanners, handheld devices, and cloud‑based WMS (e.g., ShipHero, Fishbowl, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet daily pick‑rate targets (≥ 120 lines/hour).
• Reliable high‑speed internet, a quiet workspace, and the ability to lift up to 30 lb occasionally (for home‑office kit assembly).

Preferred

• Certification in OSHA 10‑hour General Industry or similar safety training.
• Experience with automated conveyor or sortation systems.
• Familiarity with lean/5S methodologies.
