Salary Range

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 – $145,000 USD/year, adjusted based on your experience, technical skill set, and location-specific cost of living adjustments for global hires. Annual performance bonuses and equity packages are also available for eligible candidates.

About the Role

We’re seeking a mid-level Software Developer to join our core product engineering team, working on our flagship project management platform. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build new features, optimize existing codebases, and ensure our tools scale to support millions of active users. This is a 100% remote position, with no requirements to commute to a physical office – work from anywhere with a stable internet connection, whether that’s a home office, co-working space, or while traveling.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable front-end and back-end features for our cloud-based platform using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that aligns with our team’s technical standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, with a focus on minimizing downtime for global users
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and weekly team syncs (all held via video conference)
• Contribute to our internal engineering wiki and mentor junior developers as needed

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack or front-end web development
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js, with a portfolio of shipped production code
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Strong familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies
• Excellent written communication skills, with experience working asynchronously in remote teams
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule, while meeting team deadlines

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or other cloud infrastructure tools
• Contributions to open-source projects or a public GitHub portfolio
• Experience with project management tools (Asana, Jira, or our own CloudForge suite)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, or similar)
• Previous experience working in a fully remote SaaS environment
