About the Role

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of large‑scale engineering initiatives, from concept through commissioning. You will collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders—design, procurement, construction, and operations—to define scope, develop schedules, manage risk, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Your ability to translate technical requirements into actionable project plans will directly influence project success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Lead weekly project review meetings, presenting status, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables across mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural disciplines.
• Perform constructability reviews and value‑engineering analyses to optimize cost and schedule.
• Manage change control processes, ensuring proper documentation, approval, and impact assessment.
• Mentor junior project engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies to secure permits and approvals.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive project engineering experience on projects valued at $10M+.
• Proven track record managing multi‑disciplinary teams in a remote or distributed environment.
• Advanced proficiency with project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and BIM tools (Navisworks, Revit).
• Strong knowledge of ASME, IEEE, AISC, and local building codes.

Preferred

• PMP or PMI‑ACP certification.
• Experience with renewable energy, data center, or industrial manufacturing projects.
• Familiarity with Agile project delivery frameworks.

Salary Range

Estimated compensation: $115,000 – $145,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This range reflects market rates for senior‑level remote project engineers in the United States.
