About the Role

We are hiring a Remote Senior Project Engineer to act as the primary technical lead for a portfolio of 4–6 concurrent projects. You will operate entirely from a home workspace, directing local field teams through digital twins, drone surveys, and daily video check-ins.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Author and review engineering calculations, specifications, and drawings for compliance with applicable codes.
• Develop project schedules, track Earned Value Management metrics, and forecast budget variances before they occur.
• Facilitate virtual design reviews with clients, regulators, and subcontractors across multiple time zones.
• Mentor two to three junior engineers via screen-share sessions and structured feedback loops.
• Investigate technical failures remotely using telemetry data and recommend corrective actions within 24 hours.

In this role, you are not a passive administrator; you are the engineering decision-maker. Because we are 100% remote, our processes are documented to the millimeter, and you will help refine them. The position requires roughly 40 hours per week, with occasional evening calls to align with Asian or European stakeholders.

Salary Range

Based on industry standards for senior-level engineering roles in the United States, we provide a transparent annual salary of $95,000 – $125,000 USD/year. The exact offer depends on your licensed discipline, years of lead experience, and demonstrated remote management success. Additionally, you receive a 10% annual bonus potential, paid quarterly, and a one-time home office setup allowance of $1,000.

Requirements

Technical Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain reciprocity within six months of hire.
• Seven or more years of engineering project execution, including three years owning project profit-and-loss remotely or on-site.
• Advanced command of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and Primavera P6 or equivalent cloud scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with LEED, ISO 9001, and OSHA 30 standards as applied to infrastructure delivery.
