Recent Activity
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Engineer to lead complex engineering initiatives from concept to completion, all while working 100% remotely. In this role you will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure technical excellence on every deliverable. If you thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and want to shape the future of technology without geographic limits, this is the opportunity for you.
About the Role
As a Senior Project Engineer you will own the end‑to‑end delivery of multi‑disciplinary projects, serving as the primary liaison between engineering, product, and client stakeholders. You will develop detailed project plans, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track and within budget. Your expertise will drive process improvements, mentor junior engineers, and ensure that all solutions meet stringent quality and compliance standards.
You will partner closely with product management to translate market needs into technical specifications, and work with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure a smooth transition from design to production. The role demands a balance of strategic foresight and hands‑on problem solving, enabling you to influence both the technical direction and the business impact of our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in partnership with product managers, clients, and senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules, resource allocation plans, and detailed budgets using industry‑standard tools.
- Facilitate weekly steering committee meetings, prepare status reports, and present performance metrics to executive stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle, creating contingency plans and escalation paths to mitigate potential delays.
- Oversee design reviews, prototype testing, and validation activities to verify that all engineering outputs meet functional and regulatory requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure third‑party deliverables align with project timelines and quality standards.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lessons learned to refine project management processes across the organization.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior project engineers, fostering skill development in scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder communication.
- Champion the adoption of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies, tailoring the approach to suit each project’s unique complexity.

- Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals, including GD&T, tolerance analysis, and reliability engineering principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of presenting technical concepts to both engineering and executive audiences.
- Familiarity with industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IEC 61508, AS9100) and experience navigating regulatory compliance processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Civil, or a related engineering discipline; Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desirable.
Personal Attributes
- Self‑directed and disciplined, able to maintain high productivity in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Analytical mindset that relies on data‑driven insights to make informed decisions and prioritize actions.
- Adaptable to shifting priorities, comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects without sacrificing quality.
- Collaborative spirit that builds trust across diverse, global teams and promotes an inclusive workplace culture.
- Commitment to continuous learning, regularly seeking out new methodologies, tools, and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve.
