Join a fast-scaling SaaS company as a Remote Senior Operations Manager where your strategic vision directly shapes revenue growth and team efficiency. We offer true location independence, a culture of radical ownership, and a compensation package that rewards results over hours logged.

About the Role

We are searching for a Senior Operations Manager to architect and optimize the operational backbone of our product and engineering divisions. This is not a maintenance role; it is a build-and-scale mandate. You will sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating high-level quarterly objectives into actionable workflows, resource allocation plans, and measurable KPIs for distributed teams across North America.

Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, you will own the “how” behind our most ambitious goals. From refining our OKR cadence and managing the vendor ecosystem to spearheading cross-functional process automation, your fingerprints will be on every major milestone we hit in 2024 and beyond. We need a systems thinker who thrives in ambiguity and treats operational debt like technical debt—something to be actively refactored.

What You Will Own

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Design and facilitate the quarterly strategic planning cycle (OKRs/KPIs) for 50+ person department.
  • Partner with Department Heads to model capacity, forecast headcount needs, and manage a $2M+ operational budget.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the product development lifecycle (PDLC) and implement data-driven process improvements.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead a team of 3 Operations Coordinators/Analysts, providing mentorship, career pathing, and performance management.
  • Act as the primary operational liaison between Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Run the weekly Business Review rhythm: prepare decks, analyze variance, and drive accountability on action items.

Systems & Infrastructure

  • Administer and optimize our core stack: Notion (Wiki/Projects), Jira (Agile), Salesforce (CRM), and Looker (BI).
  • Champion automation initiatives using Zapier/Make and custom internal tools to eliminate manual reporting.
  • Own vendor procurement, contract negotiation, and renewal cycles for all SaaS and professional services.

Requirements

Must-Haves

  • 7+ years in Operations, Management Consulting, or Chief of Staff roles within high-growth B2B SaaS (Series B–D stage preferred).
  • Proven track record of managing managers and scaling operational functions from 30 to 100+ headcount.
  • Expert-level fluency in SQL for self-serve data analysis and Advanced Spreadsheet Modeling (forecasting, capacity planning).
  • Deep experience designing organizational structures, compensation bands, and leveling frameworks.
  • Exceptional written communication skills; you write the docs that align the company.
  • Legal right to work in the US; must reside in Texas (CST timezone alignment required for leadership syncs).

Nice-to-Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree in Industrial Engineering / Systems Design.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP implementation or migration projects.
  • Background in Product Operations or Developer Experience (DevEx) tooling.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMP certification.

Salary Range & Compensation

Base Salary: $145,000 – $175,000 USD/year (commensurate with experience and location differentials within Texas).

Total compensation includes a significant equity grant (ISO stock options) with a 4-year vest/1-year cliff, annual performance bonus target of 15%, and a comprehensive benefits suite. We practice transparent compensation bands; the final offer is determined by role-related competencies assessed during the interview loop.
