About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at our company, you will play a pivotal role in developing next-generation electrical architectures for renewable energy platforms. You’ll be responsible for leading schematic capture, PCB layout reviews, component selection, and system-level testing of complex circuits. Your expertise will guide junior engineers through mentorship and code reviews while ensuring all designs meet industry compliance standards such as UL, IEC, and IEEE.

This is a 100% remote position open to candidates located anywhere within the United States. You’ll work flexible hours within a collaborative Agile framework, using modern tools like Altium Designer, SolidWorks, MATLAB, and Git-based version control. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance analog and digital circuits for power conversion systems.
• Lead full lifecycle engineering tasks from concept to production including simulation and prototyping.
• Perform detailed schematic capture and PCB layout verification with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct thermal, signal integrity, and EMC analysis to ensure robust product performance.
• Collaborate with software and firmware teams to integrate hardware-software interfaces seamlessly.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during design sprints and standups.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in electrical design and development roles.
• Proven track record in designing embedded systems and power electronics modules.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar CAD tools.
• Strong knowledge of microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, ESP32), sensors, and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN).
• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
• Experience with compliance testing and certification processes (UL, CE marking).
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and simulation purposes.
